Trying to upload a pdf (testing)…

So I'm writing about linking a pdf on my page. There isn't one attached yet, since it's taken my several days to research this. I just don't understand why this is so difficult...

I'm doing this so that I can get my quilt guild's blog up and running efficiently. Our newsletters are in pdf, so I'm hoping to get them on the site...

I just created a Windows Skydrive for when I get my new phone, plus the search I did online said I should have a cloud site to pull from… so here goes…

Well, I did that, and I'm not sure what to do now... I think I need an organizer for the stuff I have:
1. I created the skydrive for when I get my windows phone, I can take pics on the phone and put them on the skydrive to later retrieve to blog on (thats the hope)

2. I have a blog through Blogger (google).
    I have a Docs account for when I was trying out an idea for my recipies. A flop for what I was looking for-not Docs itself. Well, I think Docs is now just simply apart of Drive. Fine by me, as long as i can use it.

3. I created a objective account for the Guild--its own gmail, blogger acct and password.

Now, I think I have to create a Docs/Drive for the guild as well... on to more searching..
oh and by the way, just in case anyone is reading this, it's Quilters' Guild Acadienne.

oh yeah, and I have a yahoo email address...LOL

***Ok, so I think i may have something here. I  found the skydrive online site...duh!!!! Now, this is nice. I'll have to play with both drive and skydrive to see if i like one better than the other, but sky is nicer to look at thats for sure!

hmmm....

I'm so bad at this, I tried for a while. I really did. And then life happened...
What you ask? I have no idea! I think it was a combination of holidays, the part time job I no longer have-yay, and just the normal small stuff. I mean its May next week-and I'm not sure how I got here. I have photos to post, and print...
I was on top of the world in January, what happened? I haven't even decorated at all for any holidays-I just feel so behind on all of it. I get a couple days to catch up and what do i do? I blow it.. I have lazy days or just a complete lack of energy.. I can tell you right now, I'm not pregnant. And, I'm okay with that. I think God knows that too. He knows that I'm just overwhelmed I guess. We are now remodeling the master bathroom, finally. Or, well, trying to. I've got over a thousand dollars of supplies just sitting in my living room waiting to be used. But we are getting there. It only took a year to get motivated to do it...
Now its 11:30 at night and i need to go to bed so i can get up early for the Lafayette guild tomorrow. Have lots to do-Hope I'm sleeping soon. blah, blah, blah..

hoping to catch up soon. At least I got something done each day of off-ness. I mowed today and cleaned-we're getting company this weekend, so I had to. Kid frienly too!

January UFO Challenge

      Alright, so I made a new page and got everything up and running for the UFO challenge and am sooo proud of myself! And as a small reminder to myself, I am posting the number Ms. Judy picked:

      Now, on my list I have a clothes pattern for my WIP and a cute wool bookmark--so I really hope I can finish for the month of January! I have all faith in the handwork, but the pattern will be more challenging. I started the pattern last year at the end of a sewing class I took and just haven't had the time to come back to it.

     Now if I wasn't so lazy and backlogged on my camera pictures and my phone as well, I would get up and take a pic of both of these projects, but I am, so you'll just have to wait until I finish..

     I almost hate to admit this, but I saw the number Ms. Judy picked before I assembled my list. Sooo, I sort of cheated on picking out the WIP, but completely forgot when I picked the handwork. The reason I mention this is that I'd really like to finish the shirt pattern so I can wear it this spring...I guess I should be ashamed, but I'm really not...lol

The bookmark should be pretty easy, and it's actually the best pick, since it will be my first wool project ever, so I should be able to finish and move on to something else soon after.

Oh, and by the way, (not that anyone is reading this) I got a new laptop for Christmas! This is to explain why I'm suddenly very active on my blog... :0)

Using Live Writer

Well so far, im not sure what I’m doing. This is kinda weird and I don’t really know what I’m doing…

How exactly is this different from using blogger? ok, its got stuff at the top of the screen, but  not really sure yet. a comment I read, said that its easier to use than blogger. so I’m going to add a pic and see.

so I guess this is how I add a pic. I guess its got some features that blogger doesn’t but nothing I would jump for joy on… now I’m just rambling to make space to see what else I can do on here…. I think I’ll just post this now though…

I've been wanting to start this thing called a blog for a couple months now. My biggest hurtle was finding a name for it...because you can't just start one and then rename it later.. and of course everyone else has the names you come up with.
OMG!
I was so desparate I even enlisted the help of my sister and her bf! Well, that was last week..
So I finally told myself to stop thinking about it. To not do what I did on a college research paper where I was so focused on trying to write the intro, that the paper was done so last minute, the printer was still rolling when I turned it in.

So I did.
Allow me to introduce myself, I am now Unique & Quirky!

Of course you're wondering (not that anyone is reading this) why was it such a huge deal that I come up with the perfect name? Well, I wanted something that would describe myself, of course. But the real problem is that I wanted something I could take with me, something that would be able to stand on it's own. You see, I hope to one day to stop 'fartin' around and open my very own Etsy shop.
I know-What?
Yep, I want to have my own shop online, hell, maybe one day even a real one...
so What's in a name? Well...contentment.. :0)

(And I've only been on here for 3 hours making the page...lol)
